There’s a place I like to go
With no mountains, lakes, or streams
It’s as simple as can be
Just trees shuffling their leaves
There’s a place I like to go
Where the paths are overgrown
The grasses run wild
Where Mother Nature’s seeds are sewn
There’s a place I like to go
The sky above and the dirt beneath
Hold a little piece of me
And through the breeze, I can speak
I share my thoughts and my woes
My passions and inhibitions
And as I wander to and fro
The Mother, she does listen
I speak, She listens
I breathe, the sky glistens
There’s a place I like to go
Where I can become one
With all that is living
Under the moon and sun
