Welcome to 2019, friends!
I am usually not one for New Year’s Resolutions as I find it’s better to constantly change and grow rather than to set a date for that process. It just so happened that when I met 2019, I had a lot in mind for my well-being, so I figured, why not hop on the bandwagon for once?
Here’s my list for this year:
1. Eat local.
2. Scroll less.
3. Read more books.
4. Emphasize exercise.
5. Take pictures of little, every day things.
6. Satisfy my love of nature with knowledge.
7. Be a better friend to the earth.
8. Love unconditionally.
So far, I’ve done a pretty good job of chipping away at each of these goals, but I have a lot of days left to go!
When I think about the word “resolution” more, I like it less. I find my list is full of intentions. I don’t have a set plan for 2019, but I do have intent. Some items on my list are a continuation of what I’ve already been working on; some are new. As I work on each one, my lifestyle will find a way to mold and morph into something healthier for me, the people around me, and the earth.
Do you have any intentions or resolutions for 2019? ❤
